DIY Weaving with Drinking Straws. Skinny = 3 straws, Wider = 15 straws. Even though this is for children of all ages, I had to read the directions twice, but then I got it and it was easy to understand. Good for small projects like bracelets, and great for kids. Tutorial at Home Ed Groups here.

Day 3 of 2012

Thank God because it was a restful day. I got to chill & bum around at home (aka sleep in and lots of computer), but then I got to see my fav high school friends at Barnes & Noble. The pictures are from the DIY project I worked on today. For all I complain about the overabundance of stuff in my house and how messy it is, the positives of that is how there’s much things for me to play around with. Such as finding the photo frame base & making a jewelry holder thing from it (idea is not original — from Pintrest!) But I LOVED that my sister & mom was able to help me out despite their busy-ness. I’m thankful overall because I have the luxury to relax and do art, that I have family that take care of me when I”m on break. That is all!
